Biography

Dr Swati Dhingra is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics at LSE. Before joining LSE, she completed a PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was a fellow at Princeton University. Her research interests are international economics, globalization and industrial policy. She begins a three-year term as an external member of the Bank of England's monetary policy committee on 9 August 2022.
