Education

The Education programme looks at the drivers and consequences of educational pathways throughout the lifecycle. The scope of our work is broad, including analysis of how families, peers and institutions shape young people, as well as the effects of the wider educational environment, such as academisation.

A well-educated and trained workforce is key to economic productivity and to the reduction of social inequality. It is crucial for economic growth that education and skills evolve with the needs of modern labour markets.
