Biography
Isaac Parkes is a Pre-Doctoral Research Assistant at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics. He also holds a Research Associate position at the Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Oxford and a Graduate Teaching Assistant position on the Behavioural Science MSc at the LSE. He previously completed the MSc in Behavioural Science at LSE in 2023 and further holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Bristol. His research to date includes the use of subjective wellbeing measures for policy appraisal, exploration into the measurement of children’s wellbeing in policy, and investigation into the interpersonal incomparability of subjective scale responses. He is also interested in the evaluation of psychological therapy for individuals with severe mental health problems and substance use disorders.
