Biography
Tessa Hall is a PhD student at the London School of Economics. She also works in the Centre for Economic Performance - Labour Markets Programme - as an Occasional Research Assistant for Professor Alan Manning on issues in labour economics.
Current areas of research include:
- Immigration: The impact of immigration on the labour market and on firm outcomes (productivity, prices, profits).
- Labour market inequalities: Ethnic minority and migrant pay gaps across the career.
- Gender gaps in labour market: The impact of remote work on women in the labour market.
