Jose P. Vasquez is an Assistant Professor in the Management Department of the London School of Economics. Dr. Vasquez's main work is at the intersection of international trade and labour economics. In particular, his research focuses on the effects of globalisation on both workers and firms. Before joining the LSE, Dr Vasquez was a Postdoctoral Associate at Princeton University. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, an MA in Economics from CEMFI and a BA in Economics from the University of Costa Rica. He also worked as a researcher and policy advisor at the Central Bank of Costa Rica.
