Biography

Dennis Verhoeven is an assistant professor at SKEMA Business School, a research affiliate at KU Leuven and a research associate in CEP's growth programme. He holds a PhD from KU Leuven (2016) and was previously a research economist at the CEP and a Marie Curie Individual Fellow at Bocconi University.

Current areas of research include:

  • Economics of Innovation: Measurement of innovations' private returns and spillover value; Industrial policy; Air pollution; Inventor collaboration; Inventor-field matching
  • Economics of Science: Spillovers from science to technology; Gender productivity gap
