Biography

Dr Marcus Biermann is an Assistant Professor at Bielefeld University. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics in 2019. His primary research field is international trade. His secondary research interests are financial economics and the economics of science.

Current areas of research include:

  • Deep trade agreements
  • Financial frictions and service trade
