Biography
Dr Shqiponja Telhaj's main research interests are in the areas of applied microeconomics, especially, Economics of Education and Labour Economics. Her main current research focuses on topics of leadership wages and performance in the public sector; teacher turnover and student performance; and gender wage gap. She is also working on an ESRC-funded project on labour market effects on privatisation of state-owned enterprises in developing countries, with particular focus on India.
