Biography
Niki Barbas is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Economic Performance of the London School of Economics and Political Science. She holds a BSc in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University and is completing the associated MSc programme. Her research interests lie at the intersection of international economics, labour economics, and innovation.
Current areas of research include:
- Spatial economics: spatial productivity disparities.
- Labour economics: link between self-employment and productivity.
- International economics: the effect of Brexit NTBs on innovation.
