Biography
Fatemeh Abbasian-Abyaneh is a Predoctoral Researcher at the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) at the London School of Economics. She works with Professor Daniel Sturm on projects in urban economics, with a particular focus on quantitative modeling. Fatemeh holds degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, and Economics from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. Prior to joining CEP, she contributed to a collaborative project between UC Berkeley and LSE examining land value capture policies in São Paulo. Her research interests span macroeconomics and development, with a strong emphasis on urban economic issues.

- Economics of education: Academy schools; Phonics programmes for reading; Postgraduates and within-graduate wage inequality; Foreign student increases.
