Biography

Felix is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics. He has a Bachelor's degree in economics from University of Mannheim and a Master's degree in economics from Bocconi University. He has held research assistant positions in several institutions in Germany (ZEW, ifo, DIW econ), and a pre-doctoral position at Columbia University. His research focuses on spatial economics and econometrics.

Current areas of research include:

  • Spatial economics: extreme value theory
  • Urban economics: partisan sorting in the US
