Biography

Dr Christiane Szerman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE). She received her PhD in Economics from Princeton University in 2023.

Current areas of research include:

What are the distributional consequences of labor market policies for disadvantaged workers?
How is the interaction between disability, work, and welfare?
What are the long-run effects of expansive social policies?
