Biography

Lin Fan is a PhD student in economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Previously she worked as a research analyst at the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center at Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Lin holds a MA in economics from Duke University and a BA in Business Administration from Nankai University.

Current areas of research include:

  • Applied microeconomics: strategic behaviours of market agents using structural approach
  • Empirical IO: market competition and role of intermediaries
  • Urban and trade: intercity trade costs
