Biography

Pol Simpson is a PhD student in the Department of Economics at the London School of Economics. Before joining LSE they worked as an economist in the UK Civil Service and a research economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies.

Current areas of research include:

  • Adaptation to climate change and extreme weather events through migration and occupational change
  • General equilibrium effects of housing regulation and informality
  • Global adoption of solar energy
