Biography

Sidharth Moktan is a PhD student in economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Previously he worked as a predoctoral fellow at the Center for the Economics of Human Development (CEHD), University of Chicago. Sidharth has a MRes in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Mathematical Economics from the Colorado College.

Current areas of research include:

  • Urban: the impact of housing market frictions on location choice, spatial mobility, and the labour market
  • Housing Finance: climate risk and the mortgage market
  • IO-Labour: College choice, major choice, the market for education
