Biography
Anamaria Tibocha-Nino is a Policy Officer at the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth. She supports the activities designed to bridge the gap between evidence and policy, and help local and national policy-makers make better use of evidence and evaluation. Previously, she worked as an Advisor for central government organisations in Colombia and as a Research Support Officer in the evaluation of the Local Area Coordination in York. Anamaria also has work experience in Policy Design and Implementation, Labour Markets, Pensions and Monitoring of Results. She obtained a Masters in Public Administration from the University of York (UK) and a Masters in Economics from the Universidad del Rosario (Colombia).
