Mimosa Distefano is a research economist at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics (LSE). She is also affiliated with the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM) at University College London (UCL).

Current areas of research include:

Labour Economics: Determinants of workers' career profiles; Gender Inequality in the labor market; Spatial trends in wage inequality
Public Economics: Profit taxation; Capital taxation; Payroll Taxation
