Biography
Beatriz is a third-year MRes/PhD student at the London School of Economics. She holds a BSc and an MSc in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. Prior to joining LSE, she worked as a consultant in the Development Impact Evaluation unit at the World Bank in projects related to justice and private sector development in Latin America.

- Economics of crime: Prevention of domestic violence revictimization; Pretrial detention and rearrest rates; Crime and gender inequality
