Biography

Dr Jay Euijung Lee is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of Stockholm University. She received her PhD in Economics from LSE and her research fields are labour and family economics. In recent projects, she studies how cultural constraints inhibit women from fulfilling their potential.

Current areas of research include:

• Labour economics: selection into the labour market
• Family economics: married women's labour force participation
• Political economy: consequences of gender quotas on political parties and councillors
