Kirill Borusyak is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the UCL Department of Economics. He is also affiliated with CEPR, CeMMAP, and the IFS. He received his PhD at Harvard University in 2018.

Current areas of research include:

  • International trade and urban economics: the distributional effects of trade; the effects of transportation infrastructure; gravity models
  • Causal inference: shift-share research designs; difference-in-differences designs"
