Biography

Dr. Elsa Leromain is an Assistant Professor at the University of Antwerp and an Associate at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics, and at IRES at UCLouvain. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the CEP from September 2017 to August 2019 and at IRES from September 2019 to August 2022. She obtained her PhD in Economics from the Paris School of Economics and the University Paris 1 Pantheon - Sorbonne in October 2017.

Current areas of research include:

  • Globalization: Global value chains; trade liberalisation and its impacts in developed countries
  • Spatial inequalities: economic inequalities and their implication for political outcomes
