Dr Kohei Takeda is a research assistant at Economics Department of the London School of Economics (LSE). Before joining LSE, he received B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Kyoto University in Japan. His research interests include international trade, new economic geography, urban economics and economics of agglomeration.
Current areas of research include:
- A spatial theory of inequality: transition of firms and workers in the spatial economy and its implication for inequality
- Urban policy and its general equilibrium effects
