Biography
Dr Kohei Takeda is a postdoctoral fellow with Presidential Fellowship at Economics Department of the National University of Singapore (NUS). Before joining NUS, he received BA and MA in Economics from Kyoto University and PhD in Economics from LSE. His research interests include international trade, new economic geography, urban economics and economics of agglomeration.
Current areas of research include:
- A spatial theory of inequality: transition of firms and workers in the spatial economy and its implication for inequality
- Urban policy and its general equilibrium effects
