Biography

George Kavetsos is an Associate Professor (Reader) in Behavioural Economics at Queen Mary University of London, a Research Associate at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics, and an Affiliate Scientist at the Lee Kum Sheung Center for Health and Happiness at Harvard.

Current areas of research include:

  • Subjective wellbeing: preferences for subjective wellbeing; trade-offs between subjective wellbeing and other dimensions of life
  • Behavioural science: impact of a pay transparency initiative on the gender pay gap; UK higher education sector
  • Behavioural Science: interventions nudging healthier lifestyles;
  • Subjective well-being: valuing conflict
