Lionel Robbins Lectures 2024

Lionel Robbins was one of the outstanding men of his time: economist, public servant and supporter of the arts. The lectures, which were established in his name, take place each year and are a major event in the life of LSE, featuring eminent economists from around the world.

This event is the first night in a series of three lectures with the theme 'A growth story for the 21st century: building sustainable, resilient, and equitable development'.

The second lecture, A new growth story: structural transformation; policies and institutions, will take place on Wednesday 13 March.

The final lecture, Transforming the international economy, finance, and multilateral institutions, will take place on Thursday 14 March.

Participants are expected to adhere to the CEP Events Code of Conduct.
