Junior trade workshop
Friday 16 September 2022
SAL 1.04, 1st Floor Conference Room, Sir Arthur Lewis Building, LSE, 32 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2A 3PH
The Junior Trade Workshop aims to bring together early-career researchers interested in International Economics. The objective is to promote a supportive community among early-career researchers as well as the chance to receive feedback from more senior colleagues.
The format of the workshop will consist of six presentations, each one followed by a discussion from one or more senior CEP associates. There are also two talks on research and trade policy. The official workshop programme will start on 16 September at 9.30am and end at 5.30pm. There will be a social event immediately after the workshop which all attendees are welcome to attend and a dinner the night before for speakers and discussants.
The workshop is being hosted by the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics and Political Science. We will be providing up to two nights’ accommodation in London and economy-class travel for all presenters. Participation is also encouraged for non-presenters—the workshop provides a great opportunity to meet other junior economists working in international trade. Lunch will be provided for all those attending the workshop. Unfortunately, we will be unable to reimburse travel and accommodation for non-presenters.
The workshop will follow the NBER Conference Code of Conduct. We gratefully acknowledge the generous support from the LSE's Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
