This workshop brought together early career scholars and law enforcement experts who explore the pressing issues of youth crime and violence from an economics perspective. Presentations focused on illegal activity and covered various topics, such as new trends in knife crime, policing and labour markets in the context of both developing and developed countries.
The workshop's keynote lecture was given byRandi Hjalmarsson (University of Gothenburg).
This joint CEP (LSE) and University of Glasgow event was organised by Dr Theodore Koutmeridis and Dr Matteo Sandi and it was funded via the “Behaviour, Structure and Interventions” research network at the University of Glasgow.
