TRAVEL

The conference begins at 10.00 on Monday and finishes at 16.30 on Tuesday

Outbound train – leaves King’s Cross 08.45am - please aim to be at the station by 08.25am as we need to get everyone through the gates and boarded.

I will wait for everyone under the departure board by the Lloyds cashpoint until 08.30. After this I will be at the platform gate until 08.40 (you will need to check board for platform number - look for 08.45 train Kings Cross to Cambridge/Peterborough via Cambridge. I'm afraid if you arrive after this time without your ticket, you will have to buy another at your own expense.

Return train – departs Cambridge approx 17.15 pm (arriving in London approx 6.10pm)

If you will not be travelling en masse with the group on one or more of the journeys, you will need to book any other tickets yourself and then claim them back as expenses. If arriving alone on the train you will then need to take a bus from the station to the venue. Take any of the following buses: 7/282 to the City Centre and dismount at Emmanuelle Street. You will then need to change buses and take either 5/C5/1A/15/15A/151/553/554/555 to New Hall on Huntingdon Road - if you are in any doubt, just ask the bus driver. Alternatively if there are two or more of you, you can jump in a taxi to New Hall from the station.

If you are booked on the group ticket and miss the train through nobody’s fault but your own, we will not be able to refund you the cost of a replacement ticket or taxi/bus fares to the venue.

If you are driving to the conference, click here for car parking details, directions and maps.
