About this event

The CEPR RPN on Spatial Disparities and Policy is holding a one-day workshop on Friday 26th April at the London School of Economics. The workshop will include a session dedicated to the research and policy contributions of Philippe Martin in the field of economic geography.

The network aims to support research to deepen our understanding of the causes and consequences of spatial disparities in income and productivity, while addressing two over-arching questions. How can spatial disparities persist for long periods of time, even in relatively well integrated modern economies?
What policy measures are effective in addressing disparities and their adverse consequences?

RPN members are very welcome to attend without a submiting a paper. To express your interest to attend this workshop, please follow the instructions below and register before Friday, 16 February 2024.

If you have any difficulties registering for this meeting please contact Mandy Chan, Head of Events at meets@cepr.org.

Organisers: Gilles Duranton, Henry Overman, Helen Simpson.
