About this event
Discussing the impact of government spending on both national income and wellbeing
Sir Keir Starmer has promised: "With every pound spent on your behalf we would expect the Treasury to weigh not just its effect on national income but also, its effect on wellbeing". On Monday 10 June, a major conference at LSE will discuss how this can be achieved.
The subjects discussed will range widely over the field of wellbeing and include new findings on the relation between wellbeing and the performance of the welfare state.
