Overview: How important are management practices in driving the performance of firms and the productivity of nations across Asia, Europe and North America?

In this yearís RES public lecture, Professor John Van Reenen will compare productivity growth across countries, describe his research on key drivers of productivity, particularly the important role of firmsí management quality, and discuss ways of closing the UKís longstanding productivity gap compared with France, Germany and the United States.

Admission is free but by numbered ticket only.
The lecture and question session will last 90 minutes followed by a short reception.
