About this event
This conference will present new results on the mechanics of the growth process, structural transformation, income volatility growth, capital flows to growing economies and other features of the growth process. We are delighted to have as our honoured guest for this event, Professor Robert Lucas. Professor Lucas is the John Dewey Distinguished Service Professor in Economics at the University of Chicago and one of the world's leading authorities on monetary theory, growth and development. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1995. He will be giving the 2008 Economica Phillips Lecture on Schooling and Growth
