WELLBY

Paul Frijters and Christian Krekel


The WELLBY is a measure of individual subjective wellbeing, as judged by individuals themselves, capturing both the quality of life and the length of life. We outline its use for measuring social progress and for social welfare analyses by governments, businesses, and NGOs. We provide practical examples.
