The introduction of an extra robot for a thousand workers reduces the employment rate by about 0.18-0.34 percentage points and wages by 0.25-0.5 percentage points. Looking at a sample of 17 countries, Georg Graetz and Guy Michaels (2018) noted that robots tend to reduce the share of low-skilled workers in total employment, but that they appear to have only small effects on the labor force.
