To try to anticipate the impact of the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence, beyond the anecdotal that the newspaper headlines may be about layoffs caused by automation, it is useful to analyze the real experience of comparable phenomena that have already happened. In this sense, one of the most complete studies to date was carried out by the economists Georg Graetz and Guy Michaels, of Uppsala University and the London School of Economics (in Robots at Work, The Review of Economics and Statistics ), analyzed the impact of the use of robots in different industries in advanced countries between 1990 and 2005.
