Snippet: ... Build, build, build! Free exchange (November 24th) argued that there is more to high house prices in Britain than constrained supply. Well, yes, and no. The underlying cause of housing unaffordability is constrained supply…. It is the alchemy of British policy, a failure of supply and strategy over 40 years, which has turned houses into gold.
