In many countries across the world, cities are experiencing an economic and social resurgence. But this resurgence hides profoundly uneven development, and spatial disparities have proved resistant to policymakers' attempts to reduce them. Urban Economics and Urban Policy sets out the insights that recent economic research brings to our understanding of cities, and the lessons for urban policymaking.
