The gig economy and worker's preferences for steady jobs

This research finds that workers in atypical employment, such as gig economy workers, are willing to give up approximately 50% of their hourly wage for a permanent contract and around 35% of their hourly wage for a one-year contract, in comparison with a one-month contract.
