Brexit
What will Britain's place in the world be in the next decade? Our research analyses the UK economy as it transitions out of the European Union.
The deep integration that comes with EU membership means that we must pay particular attention to the relationships between trade in goods and services and flows of labour and capital across UK borders.
We estimated how Brexit might affect people in different UK regions and income groups before it happened. As data has become available following the 2016 referendum we have also begun to look at the immediate impacts, for example, on investment in skills and consumer price levels.
Ongoing work will estimate the economic impacts of developments in UK trade policy.
