Expertise: Applied micro-economics, economics of migration, international economics, innovation and big data


Anna is Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Milan. She has completed her PhD in Economics at UCL in 2014. She is an applied micro-economist working on a range of issues related to international economics and political economy. She has published on topics of migrant selection and on the effect of emigration on the labour markets in the country of origin. Her most recent works focuses on immigrant integration in the destination country, in particular on their political participation. She has also extensively studied the use of alternative sources of data to study the relation between new innovation measures and firm productivity. Anna is also a resident researcher at the Centro Studi Luca d’Agliano.
