Dogan Gülümser is a PhD student at the Uppsala University Department of Economics. He is currently visiting the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics (LSE), hosted by Alan Manning. Previously, he was a research intern at the OECD in the Jobs and Income Division. His main research area is labour economics, with a specific focus on worker-firm matching, wage determination, and unemployment. He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Economics from Galatasaray University in Istanbul, Turkey. He is affiliated with the Uppsala Center for Labor Studies (UCLS).

  • The impact of outside opportunities on-the-job wage growth and mobility
  • Firm expansion and its role on workers' outcomes
  • Job mobility and career progression
