Biography

Alexander Gilså Hansen is a pre-doctoral research assistant working for Professor Daniel Sturm in the Centre for Economic Performance. His research is focused on the intersection between transport infrastructure and urban and regional development.

Current areas of research include:

• Urban economics: regional transport
• Cross-border commuting
• Relationship between infrastructure and population and employment densities.
