Matias is a Research Assistant at the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth (WWCLEG). He is currently assisting Mr Nunez-Chaim and Dr Gonzalez-Pampillon in assessing the impact of government interventions on firm performance, employment and local communities. Matias also works as a consultant for the World Bank. Previously he has worked as a research leader in the Ministry of Production and Labour of Argentina. He also has experience in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises working in a Research Economic Centre in Buenos Aires designing surveys, analysing SMEs performance and advising local governments on business-oriented policies.
