Biography

Dr Olivier Schöni is Assistant Professor at the department of finance, insurance, and real estate of the Laval University in Quebec, Canada.

Current areas of research include:

  • Urban economics: capitalization rates and housing supply; political fragmentation and urban sprawl.
  • Real estate: estimation of intrinsic real option value; determinants of real option exercise.
  • Housing policies: geographic distribution of housing subsidies.
