About this event
An event exploring childcare and the gender pay gap around the world and an interview with Felicia Odamtten, founder of the Black Economists Network.
How does childcare affect women's careers and how does it contribute to the gender pay gap? And how are women contributing to the field of economics and policy?
For International Women's Day 2024, CEP is hosting an event bringing expert economists and policymakers together to discuss the effects of becoming a parent on women's and men's employment and incomes. There will also be an interview with Felicia Odamtten, founder of The Black Economists Network, who will share her experiences in choosing a career in economics.
Join us as we explore research-driven policy solutions to address gender inequality and network with other staff and students from around LSE. This event is an internal LSE event and is open to all women, non-binary people and allies.
