Cities, resilience and change
Friday 04 March 2022 15:20 - 16:50
The UK does not always manage economic change well, with large spatial disparities being a longstanding issue and focus of policymakers, most recently in the "Levelling Up" agenda.
In this lecture, delivered as part of the Economy 2030 Inquiry, Enrico Moretti sets out his research into how economic change affects cities, and the features that make them more resilient to change.
