Users should backup work regularly. They should keep a copy of important files and documents on their CEP networked userspace (drive J:) and also on removeable storage media such as floppy disk, ZIP disk, CD or tape.

the Centre runs McAfee Anti-Virus software as standard on all networked computers. When a new McAfee software update is released the networked computers will be automatically updated once the user has shut down his machine and started it again. Please read the handout ITDOC10 on how to get rid of viruses as this will help protect your work. Data
