Biography:

Eric Maurin is Research director at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (Paris). He was previously Head of the Division for Studies on Households’ Living Conditions, French National Institute for Statistics and Economics Studies (1994-1998), and Head of the Department for Labor Studies, Directorate for Economic Studies of the French Labor Ministry (1993-1994).
