Biography

Full Professor in the Department of Economics, London School of Economics.

Director Centre for Economic Performance, London School of Economics.

Editorial Board of the Journal of Economic Literature since 2007 and Journal of the European Economic Association since 2006.

Winner of the 2009 Yrjö Jahnsson Award (European equivalent to the Bates Clark Medal)

Fellow of the British Academy
