Amanda is a PhD student in Economics at the London School of Economics and an Occasional Research Assistant in the Urban Group at CEP. Her primary research interests are in the area of development economics. She currently works primarily with geospatial data, analysing how residential quality is affected by infrastructure investments in Tanzania. Before starting at LSE, she worked as a Research Fellow at Harvard’s Center for International Development. Amanda graduated from University of Oxford with a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics with First Class Honours, and holds a MA in International and Development Economics from Yale University.
