Biography:Sandra is a PhD candidate in Economics at Imperial College Business School. At the CEP she has worked on the LSE's Growth Commission and is now engaged in follow-on work on industrial policy. Prior to commencing her PhD she spent several years working in economic consultancy and, most recently, for a think tank in their environmental economics team.
Current Areas of Research:
Her research interests are in the area of environmental, energy and urban economics and industrial organisation, with a focus on renewable energy and energy demand management. Currently, her research focuses on externalities from renewables deployment, repowering and decommissioning policies, with particular attention paid to spatial issues.
